Jason collaborated with both Director and Director of Photography to visualize the opening sequence to the 2008 film Hachi: A Dog's tale.  The sequence showed the mysterious origins of the canine Hachi as he travels from Japan to the US. While filming took place in Rhode Island, the opening sequence was filmed in Japan.
